wow, the detail work is spectacular. I especially love the tin star and rose.
I certainly wouldn't have worried about the katanas, they seem to really fit the scene, plus offer that East meets West vibe, which rocks.
The rifle on the other hand, for whatever reason and this is probably just me but, it feels more like a machine gun from the early 20th century, at least in the stock and the rear of the body itself.
Disregarding that gun bit, this is epic.

Every single detail on this drawing, I love! Why can't Square-Enix come with this style!? Every other design in Lightning Returns pales in front of this.

Beautiful! I think the swords are pefectly fine in westerns, though I think Rapier or other European swords would have been a better choice; but that's just me. Plus, Light is a fantasy character, so techincaly Katana's are fine XD Fantasy Western ftw! LOL
